NHLThe 2013-14 Upper Deck Series Two hockey cards are scheduled for a traditional February release. The second series is a continuation of Upper Deck Series One which was released in November 2013.

Just like the first series, Upper Deck Series Two will be sold in eight-card packs. A 24-pack hobby box will deliver six Young Guns rookies, one MVP Rookie, and three or four O-Pee-Chee rookies. Upper Deck Series Two also includes Hockey Heroes, Canvas cards, and O-Pee-Chee Retros. Hobby boxes promise one UD Game Jerseys card and one UD Rookie Materials.

Other highlights in Upper Deck Series Two are serial-numbered parallel cards, signature cards, patch cards, acetate cards, printing plates and buyback autograph cards.

Upper Deck has long been a hobby favourite in the sports collector world. In fact, this year marks the 24th edition of the Upper Deck hockey card brand, which has nearly always been separated into a first and second release. Only in 2004-05 and 2012-13, when the NHL season was either cancelled or shortened, was the Upper Deck hockey brand released as a single series.

Announced by the Upper Deck Company in November, the 2013-14 Upper Deck Series One NHL release was a sell out.
