NHLThe Upper Deck Company has announced that there is an additional level of chase to this year’s Fall 2012 Upper Deck Priority Signings cards. The new “Exclusive” level features scarce single or dual signed cards and is exclusive to collectors or dealers that crack open a full case of 2011-12 SP Authentic, 2011-12 Ultimate Memorabilia, 2011-12 SP Game-Used Edition, or 2011-12 SPx.

The Upper Deck Co. promotion runs this Nov. 9-11 weekend at the Fall 2012 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo in Mississauga, ON. Fans who open a box of 2012-13 O-Pee-Chee, 2012-13 Upper Deck Artifacts or 2012-13 Upper Deck Series One will receive a rare 2012-13 Upper Deck Priority Signings autograph card. Fans who open one of those 2011-12 cases will receive two rare 2012-13 Upper Deck Priority Signings autograph cards and one scarce Upper Deck Priority Signings Exclusive autograph card.

As a twist, fans will in fact have the choice to receive either one of the Exclusive cards or an autographed memorabilia item from a top NHL draft pick. Wrote Chris Carlin via the Upper Deck Blog, “upon opening the case and turning in their voucher and wrappers, collectors will receive two random Priority Signings autograph cards and a special bonus: an instant redemption for a (scarce) Exclusive Priority Signings single or dual signed card OR an autographed memorabilia item from a top NHL draft pick. These single signed cards are limited to 5 copies or less and the dual signed cards to just 10 copies or less.”

There are 36 different cards in the Upper Deck Priority Signings set and 18 different cards in the Upper Deck Priority Signings Exclusive set.
