NHLThe latest series of Swedish hockey cards has been released for the 2013-14 season by Playercards. The new 2013-14 HockeyAllsvenskan series is sold in five-card packs with 28 packs in every box. There are 12 boxes in every case.

The Playercards 2013-14 HockeyAllsvenskan series includes a 404-card base set featuring stars of the Swedish Elitserien. That makes it slightly bigger than last year’s set, the 345-card 2012-13 series.

The 2013-14 base set includes players, referees, and team photos (from 14 different teams). Inserts include Lockout Review, Blueliners, Canadiens, Fully Charged, Playmakers, Bloodlines, Showstoppers, and Upstarts. Of note, the Lockout Review insert features players like Bobby Ryan, Gabriel Landeskog, Anze Kopitar, Cam Fowler and Jhonas Enroth.

Card images can be viewed at the Playercards website.

Playercards makes annual hockey cards for Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. The Swedish series has been released annually since 2010-11.

The HockeyAllsvenskan is in fact the second highest division of ice hockey in Sweden, played just below the Elitserien (otherwise known as the SHL). While Playercards produces the annual HockeyAllsvenskan series, The Card Cabinet produces the SHL Elitset series (2013-14 first series released in October; second series yet to be released).
