Signing: Paul Henderson at Frozen Pond

Canadian hockey hero Paul Henderson will sign autographs today at Frozen Pond hockey memorabilia store in Concord, ON. Mr. Henderson will sign autographs from noon to 1:30pm at Frozen Pond, 10 Buttermill Avenue, just north of Toronto. Frozen Pond will open its doors on Saturday at 10am.

Paul Henderson was the goal-scoring hero from the 1972 Summit Series between Canada and the Soviet Union. His series-winning goal in the eighth and final game is often cited as the most important goal in Canadian hockey history. Henderson in fact scored the winning goal in the last three games of the series.

Henderson also played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Atlanta Flames. He also played five seasons in the World Hockey Association with the Toronto Toros and Birmingham Bulls.
