Hockey fans can collect hockey cards on boxes of Post Cereal Shreddies boxes. There are 12 different cards in the series, with four cards found on each of three different boxes.

As part of the promotion, fans are asked to “like” the Post Cereal Shreddies CHL fan page on Facebook to enter a contest to win a trip to the 2013 Memorial Cup.

Just last season, Shreddies became the official cereal of the Canadian Hockey League. Said Margaret Hastings of Post Foods in May 2012, “Shreddies, as an iconic Canadian brand, is the perfect match to be the official cereal of the CHL. Teaming up with the WHL, OHL and QMJHL is an important part of Shreddies commitment to our communities. Shreddies families are passionate about their CHL hockey teams and so are we. We are looking forward to an exciting season next year.”
