Score to kick off Panini Group’s 2010-11 efforts
The Panini Group has (tentatively) announced that its first hockey set this coming 2010-11 NHL season will be Score hockey in August. The Panini Group will be joining the Upper Deck Company as one of two official NHL-NHLPA trading card companies. The Panini Group owns all the brand names previously created by former card companies Score, Pacific and Donruss.
The Score brand has been around for some 20 years, although it has been more than a dozen years since it was last issued in hockey. The Score hockey brand was issued for eight consecutive years from 1990-91 to 1997-98. For more information on the Panini Group, please visit www.paniniamerica.net.
