NHLA 1970s New York Rangers Rod Gilbert game-worn jersey highlights the hockey selection in the month-long Leland’s memorabilia auction. The multi-sport and entertainment auction closes Jan. 16, 2015.

In all, there are 27 lots listed in the hockey category, including the Gilbert gamer. Other items are a 1978-79 Chicago Blackhawks Mike O’Connell game-worn jersey, a 1990 NHL All-Star Game Mario Lemieux game-worn jersey, and a 1994-95 Pittsburgh Penguins Markus Näslund game-worn jersey.

Wrote Leland’s of the Gilbert gamer, “this is a gorgeous red, white and blue jersey that shows nice wear including blood stains and stick marks. There’s Gerry Cosby tagging on the collar and it is size 48. Dates from the early 1970s and comes with an LOA from Lelands hockey expert Casey Samuelson.”

The auction also features two Jean Béliveau Top Performer in Hockey awards (from Sport magazine), a Mario Lemieux game-used hockey stick, and a 1973 Montréal Canadiens Stanley Cup sample ring.
