McFarlane Sports Picks has released artwork for the special Jonathan Quick hockey figure that will be available in December. The so-called “NHL Exclusive” will be available to Canadian collectors via Grosnor Distribution and to American collectors via the McFarlane Toys online store.
The Collector’s Club pack includes both the Quick figure and a miniature Stanley Cup. The Quick figure has been painted with the Kings’ home black jersey. This marks Quick’s SportsPicks debut.
In June of this year, Quick led the Los Angeles Kings to the 2012 Stanley Cup championship, the first in the team’s 44-season history. The 26-year old Quick won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff’s most valuable player.
During the 2011-12 regular season, Quick was an NHL Second All-Star Team after finishing second in the league with a 1.95 goals-against average. Quick also won the Bill Libby Memorial Award as the team’s MVP and the Kings’ Most Popular Player award.
