Promotions: Admirals game helmets
The American League’s Milwaukee Admirals present the “Hunt for Pink October” for the third consecutive season. The October promotion culminates with raffle tickets sold at the Oct. 30 home game. The Admirals will donate $2 from each ticket to the local American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The Admirals will also donate funds from its game-used hockey helmet silent auction. Each Admirals helmet features the symbolic pink breast cancer ribbon. Fans can bid on the helmets up until the second intermission of the Oct. 30 match.
“We are privileged to be able to team up with an organization like the American Cancer Society this year to once again help raise awareness for all of those affected by breast cancer,” said Admirals President Jon Greenberg. “Throughout our community, friends and family are confronting breast cancer’s impact each day and the American Cancer Society has extensive resources to help those affected by this disease.”
