The Upper Deck Company will release the 16th edition of Upper Deck Black Diamond hockey cards this Wednesday, Dec. 3. The 2014-15 series will be available in collector stores across Canada and USA this week.
As usual, Upper Deck Black Diamond features four levels of difficulty to the base set. There are Single, Double, Triple and Quad Diamond cards in the base set, with 6 Doubles, 6 Triples and 3 Quads in a typical 20-pack hobby box.
From that collection, there should be three Triple Diamond rookie cards and one or two Quad Diamond rookie cards in a box. There will also be two dual-swatch jersey cards.
In a case, collectors will find 1 Lustrous Rookies, one rare Hardware Heroes, four PETG Championship Rings, and four autographed cards (the same odds as 2013-14 Upper Deck Black Diamond).
Unlike recent years, there are no plans to include bonus packs of Upper Deck Ice hockey cards.
