Panini America has announced that it will add new brand Rookie Anthology to its 2011-12 hockey card lineup. The rookie-theme NHL-NHLPA brand will be available in hobby shops this June.

Rookie Anthology will be sold in five-card packs, with 10 packs in each hobby box. On average, each box will deliver one Rookie Treasures dual memorabilia autograph rookie card, limited to either 499, 199 or just 99 copies. Each box will also include another autograph card and two memorabilia cards.

Over a 12-box case, Rookie Anthology will deliver one rare Luxury Suite rookie card (99 copies), two or three Limited Phenoms signed rookie cards, one signed Ice Breaker parallel, and either a rare Rookie Silhouettes (99 copies each), a rare Prime Rookie Silhouettes (25 copies each) or a rare Rookie Treasure Patch (15 copies each).

Both the Rookie Silhouettes and Limited Phenoms are updates to previously-released hockey brands from this season. The Rookie Silhouettes updates the 2011-12 Crown Royale brand while the Limited Phenoms updates the 2011-12 Limited brand.
