NHLThe Want List will take part in the 15th annual Montréal Collectors’ International this weekend from Oct. 22-24. The show will help launch the 2010-11 hockey collecting season in more ways that one. The Want List’s first magazine of the 2010-11 season will be launched featuring prized rookie prospect Taylor Hall on the cover. It also marks the weekend launch of 2010-11 Certified hockey, the first product with the new rookies from 2010-11.

The Montréal Collectors’ International runs Oct. 22-24 at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau at Parc Olympique. Show hours are Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-3pm. Entry is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for kids 6-16 years of age. A three-day weekend pass is $25. Kids 6 or younger get in free.

The Want List will be on hand in the corporate section. Collectors are encouraged to come purchase a subscription to The Want List, starting with the newest issue which features Taylor Hall on the magazine cover. The Want List will also have copies of the 2011 Hockey Collector’s Almanac / Hockey Rookie Card Checklist on hand.

Panini America’s new Certified hockey is the second release of the 2010-11 season, albeit the first since Upper Deck Co.’s The Cup officially closed the 2009-10 season. As announced last week, Certified hockey will be the first product to feature the new rookies from earlier this month: Taylor Hall, Tyler Seguin, Jeffrey Skinner, Brayden Schenn, Jordan Eberle and Magnus Pääjärvi.

Of course, another big part of the weekend show is the autograph lineup. On Friday, there will be Andrei Markov and tennis star Aleksandra Wozniak. On Saturday, it will be Murray Wilson, Luc Robitaille, Patrice Brisebois, Paul Leduc and Jaques Rougeau. On Sunday, there will be David Lemieux, Vincent Damphousse, Anthony Calvillo and Eric Lapointe.
