The Minnesota Wild will distribute Zach Parisé collectible bobbleheads at their home game on Thursday night. The first 5,000 fans attending the Wild-Rangers game on March 13 will receive the free hockey toy.
The Mar. 13 giveaway is the last in a five-player bobble series for this 2013-14 Minnesota Wild promotional season. Before the Olympics, the Wild celebrated Jason Pominville (Jan. 2) and Dany Heatley (Jan. 16) Bobble Nights. In March, the three Bobble Nights are Ryan Suter (Mar. 3), Jonas Brodin (Mar. 9) and Parisé (Mar. 13). All five bobbles are sponsored by FOX Sports North.
Parisé is in his second season with the Minnesota Wild, having joined the franchise in the summer of 2012. Before joining the Wild, he spent seven seasons with the New Jersey Devils, twice finishing amongst the top-20 NHL scorers and once earning NHL Second Team All-Star honours.
Other NHL teams like the Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers and Los Angeles Kings have also distributed hockey bobbles this 2013-14 season.
In last year’s shortened NHL season, the Wild distributed just the one “vintage” Wild bobble as a promotional, in-stadium gift.
