NHLIn The Game will launch a new hockey card brand this season called In The Game StickWork. As the name suggests, the brand’s theme is hockey sticks, or perhaps more specifically pieces of game-used hockey sticks.

The new brand will be limited to just 2,500 boxes. Each box will deliver three game-used stick cards (with each rare card sealed in a magnetic top loader). Every card is limited to 19 copies or less.

Wrote In The Game president Dr. Brian Price, “in this day and age, to come up with a concept that has never been done before, well that takes a combination of creativity, some great memorabilia and a love for the game. In The Game possesses all of these qualities and this will be demonstrated by our upcoming release – StickWork.”

The brand, which is scheduled to be launched in mid February, features sticks used from the 1930s to present. The brand will include designs such as Vintage, Enshrined, Goalies, Stick Rack (multi player), Lumbergraphs and Stick Handle. One design, Stick to Tape, features pieces of stick tape instead of pieces from the actual sticks.

Fifteen years ago, In The Game issued its first game-used stick cards in the 1998-99 Be A Player hockey card series.
