Moncton Wildcats’ Brandon Gormley is the top-ranked Québec League prospect on the National Hockey League Central Scouting’s preliminary ranking. Gormley ranked ahead of teammate Kirill Kabanov and Rimouski prospects Petr Straka and Jakub Culek.

There is just one item on Gormley’s Collector Index: a 2008-09 Extreme card from the Moncton team set. Gormley’s teammate Kabanov was not in the 2008-09 set, so he has yet to appear on his first card. So too have Straka and Culek, also both new to the QMJHL.

All four QMJHL prospects are expected to be featured in 2009-10 In The Game Heroes & Prospects.
