Prince George Cougars’ Brett Connolly is the top-ranked Western League prospect on the National Hockey League Central Scouting’s preliminary ranking. Connolly ranked first ahead of Edmonton’s Mark Pysyk and Red Deer’s Alexander Petrovic.

There is just one item on Connolly’s Collector Index: a 2008-09 Prince George Cougars card from the local team set. It should be noted that there was another player named Brett Connolly who played earlier this decade and had collectibles with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

All three WHL prospects are expected to be featured in 2009-10 In The Game Heroes & Prospects.
