Dempster’s Bakery, a Maple Leaf Foods brand, is offering a series of Sidney Crosby cards in specially-marked packages of bread. There are nine different basic Crosby cards plus a rare golden Crosby signature card. Fans will find one Crosby card in every bread package, although the odds of finding a golden signature card is 1 in 260,000 packages (there are 26 million packages in all).

According to the Official Contest Rules, if you find a Canada Bread “Golden Card” you are eligible to receive a Canada Bread “Signed Sidney Crosby Collector Card. The contest runs March 22 to May 17, 2012.

To help promote the card set, Dempster’s has produced a television advertisement as well as a unique Facebook page. All nine Crosby card images are featured on the Facebook page.
