Classic has announced another $1-million in collector sales through its Fall 2014 historical hockey memorabilia auction. The auction closed this week on Nov. 4.
Including the buyer’s premium, the Fall 2014 auction garnered $1,371,000 in sales.
“The month-long auction received thousands of bids on the 1100+ items that were available for auction, and finished as one of our most successful to date,” wrote Greg Arns of Classic Auctions. “Items from the Brett Hull Collection were of great interest, as were the Boston Bruins Collection and the wool jerseys in the David Martell Historic Collection. Traditional hot items including vintage hockey cards and game-used equipment were in high demand, as well as big ticket items such as championship rings and trophies.”
The next Classic auction – Winter 2015 – will launch in January 2015.
