NHLConsignments are now open for the next Classic historical hockey memorabilia auction. The Classic team is currently looking for items for the Spring 2014 auction.

“Do you have rare collectibles? Something hidden in your closet or found in your grand-parents attic? This might be the right time to try and offer it to collectors around the world,” promotes Classic auctions.

Already previewed by Classic, the upcoming auction will feature items from the personal collections of Harry Howell, Dickie Boon and Lanny McDonald.

There will also be several Wayne Gretzky items from the Shawn Chaulk collection, most notably a 1981-82 Edmonton Oilers game-worn jersey from Gretzky’s fabled 92-goal season. Also from that 1981-82 record-breaking season, there is a game-used Titan stick, a pair of game-used Jofa gloves, and a game-used milestone goal puck.

The most recent Classic Winter 2014 auction closed on Feb. 25 with more than $1.5-million realized in collector sales.
