The Upper Deck Company has once again produced trading cards for Sunkist Growers, Inc. The new 10-card hockey set is available via specially-marked bags of Sunkist oranges. The limited-edition hockey cards are exclusive to participating stores across Canada.

The 10 cards in the 2009-10 series are: 1 Sidney Crosby, 2 Martin Brodeur, 3 Jarome Iginla, 4 Rick Nash, 5 Mike Richards, 6 Vincent Lecavalier, 7 Roberto Luongo, 8 Ryan Getzlaf, 9 Scott Niedermayer, and 10 Jay Bouwmeester. There are also six signature cards each limited to 400 copies.

“Consumers love to get free gifts and when you make that gift a collectible NHL Superstar trading card, it creates quite a buzz,” says Julie DeWolf, director of Marketing for Sunkist Growers Inc. “We are in the fourth year of our uniquely Canadian Hockey program and the excitement continues to build with the best home-grown Canadian talent the NHL has to offer in a collectible series of 10 Upper Deck cards for 2009-10.”

This is the fourth Upper Deck Sunkist hockey-card set. The Upper Deck Co. first produced cards for Sunkist Growers back in 2005-06.
