Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member Bryan Trottier will sign autographs this Thursday Nov. 7, 2013 at the Frozen Pond hockey memorabilia store. The in-store appearance will run for one hour from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The cost for Trottier autographs are $29 for flat items and $39 for bulky items. For more information, collectors are encouraged to contact the store at 905.760.8404.

Trottier became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997. As a player, he won the Calder Trophy in 1975-76, the Hart Trophy and Art Ross Trophy in 1978-79, and the Conn Smythe Trophy in the 1980 playoffs. He was a Stanley Cup winner with both the New York Islanders (1980 to 1983) and Pittsburgh Penguins (1991 and 1992).

Trottier, a centreman, was a two-time First Team All-Star in the pre-Wayne Gretzky era (1977-78 and 1978-79) and a two-time Second Team All-Star in the Gretzky era (1981-82 and 1983-84). Along with winning the Hart Trophy (league MVP) in 1978-79, he was also the runner up in 1981-82 (behind Gretzky).

Once wrote former Islanders’ coach Brian Kilrea, Bryan Trottier “was strong; he was like Gordie Howe.”

Collectors will also have the opportunity to mail in their personal items to get signed in case they can’t make it to the Frozen Pond store on either day.

Since 1993, Frozen Pond has established itself as the number one source for quality autograph hockey collectibles.
