BHP Billiton Family Hockey Fest continues
The BHP Billiton Family Hockey Fest moves to Regina, SK today at Evraz Place. The event commemorating the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championships runs Dec. 26-31. Doors are open from 11:30am to 9:00pm each day.
The event is designed for families and is totally free to its patrons. The event ran Dec. 17-22 in Saskatoon before moving to Regina. The event will involve school programs, inner-city hockey leagues, minor hockey and much more, including major NHL and other trophies on display for the event. The Stanley Cup will be on display.
Canada begins its quest for a sixth-straight IIHF World Junior Championships gold medal today. The tournament runs Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
