The new Rookie Anthology card series by Panini America has hit the market. The new brand-plus series features updates to Certified, Crown Royale, Limited, Panini Contenders and Pinnacle. It also features an in-box bonus brand Luxury Suite.

The Rookie Anthology brand features a 100-card shell set (veterans) plus three levels of Rookie Treasures (rookie cards). The rookie cards are limited to either 99 copies (five different rookies), 199 copies (10 rookies), or 499 copies (50 rookies). All 65 Rookie Treasures are available in a rare Patch variation limited to 15 copies.

Additional rookie cards are featured in the updates for Certified, Crown Royale, Limited, Panini Contenders and Pinnacle as well as the stand-alone Luxury Suite. It should be noted that rookies that have been featured all season long (like Gabriel Landeskog and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins) are not re-featured in the updates to the five pre-existing brands; they are, however, featured in both new brands Rookie Anthology and Luxury Suite.

On average, a hobby box will deliver one Rookie Treasures card (dual memorabilia plus autograph), one additional autograph card and two additional memorabilia cards. There are 10 packs to a box, with each five-card pack retailing for just over $10 a pack.
