New honoured member Modano added to Fall Expo lineup

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Mike Modano will sign autographs at the upcoming Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Modano is the latest legend added to the lineup for the three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Modano was a Stanley Cup champion with the Dallas Stars in 1999. After starting his career with the Minnesota North Stars, he moved with the franchise to Dallas. He then retired after a season with the Detroit Red Wings in 2010-11.

Modano will be newly inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this year.

Modano will sign autographs on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. Other Hockey Hall of Fame honoured members signing during the same weekend are Yvan Cournoyer, Bob Gainey, Rod Langway, Ted Lindsay, Dickie Moore and Larry Murphy.

Terrible Ted Lindsay to sign autographs at Fall Expo 2014

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Ted Lindsay will sign autographs at the upcoming Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Lindsay is the latest legend added to the lineup for the three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Lindsay was a four-time Stanley Cup winner with the Detroit Red Wings in the 1950s. He was an eight-time NHL First Team All-Star between 1947-48 and 1956-57. He was also the NHL’s top goal scorer in 1947-48 and top points scorer in 1949-50.

Lindsay became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966. Today, the NHLPA’s trophy for the Most Outstanding Player is named after Lindsay (the Ted Lindsay Award).

Lindsay will sign on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. Other Hockey Hall of Fame honoured members signing during the same weekend are Yvan Cournoyer, Bob Gainey, Rod Langway, Dickie Moore and Larry Murphy.

Anderson to sign autographs at Frozen Pond on Friday

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Glenn Anderson will sign autographs at the Frozen Pond hockey memorabilia store on Friday, Sep. 26, 2014. Anderson will be in store from 6-7pm.

Anderson was a six-time Stanley Cup winner, five times with the Edmonton Oilers and once with the New York Rangers. He also played in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues. At the international level, he won Canada Cup titles in 1984 and 1987.

Anderson was part of the powerhouse Oilers’ dynasty from the 1980s. He became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008.

Canadiens added to Fall Expo autograph lineup

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured members Yvan Cournoyer and Bob Gainey are among the autograph stars added to the upcoming Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Cournoyer and Gainey join a lineup that already includes Rod Langway and Dickie Moore.

The four Canadiens are scheduled to sign on Saturday Nov. 8, 2014, with times still to be confirmed. Cournoyer was a 10-time Stanley Cup winner, Gainey a five-time Stanley Cup winner, Langway a one-time Stanley Cup winner, and Moore also a six-time Stanley Cup winner.

Other autograph guests for the upcoming show are Esa Tikkanen, Larry Murphy, Bill McCreary and Rod Seiling. The program also notes that “more autograph guests” will be announced.

Red Wings autograph lineup at Sunday Hockeyfest

NHLThe Detroit Red Wings have announced the autograph lineup for Sunday’s Red Wings 2014 Hockeyfest at Joe Louis Arena. The day-long fan event will feature both current and retired stars.

From the list of current players, they will sign during two different windows. From 11:30am to 2:30pm, the lineup includes Niklas Kronwall, Jimmy Howard, Johan Franzen and Tomas Tatar. From 2:30pm to 5:30pm, the lineup includes Pavel Datsyuk, Gustav Nyquist, Joakim Andersson and Luke Glendening.

From the list of retired players, appearances will include Ted Lindsay, Darren McCarty and Alex Delvecchio.

The Detroit Red Wings 2014 Hockeyfest runs 11am tp 6pm at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for kids 12 and under.

Blue Jackets Fan Fest this Friday in Columbus

NHLThe Columbus Blue Jackets will hold their 2014 Fan Fest on Friday, Sep. 12. The event takes place from 6-9pm at Nationwide Arena.

The free event offers fans to meet and greet Blue Jackets players, tour the locker room, and participate in a variety of interactive games.

For the autograph session, fans will be limited to one signed item per autograph line. According to bluejackets.nhl.com, “only fans with an autograph voucher are guaranteed to get a signature. A limited number of vouchers will be distributed at each autograph location beginning approximately 30 minutes prior to each autograph session.”

Players scheduled to sign autographs are Brandon Dubinsky, Scott Hartnell, Nathan Horton, Boone Jenner, Ryan Murray, Artem Anisimov, Cam Atkinson, Jared Boll, Matt Calvert, Mark Letestu, Fedor Tyutin, David Savard, Corey Tropp, Curtis McElhinney, Tim Erixon, and Cody Goloubef.

Diggin’ Dickie to headline Fall Expo autograph lineup

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Dickie Moore will sign autographs at the upcoming Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Moore is one of a half a dozen stars highlighted on the cover of the show program.

Other autograph guests for the upcoming show are Esa Tikkanen, Larry Murphy, Rod Langway, Bill McCreary and Rod Seiling. The program also noted that “more autograph guests” will be announced.

Moore, 83, is a six-time Stanley Cup champion, having won titles with the Montréal Canadiens in 1953, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960. In 1958-59, he set the league’s single-season scoring record with 96 points.

A two-time Art Ross Trophy winner during the Canadiens’ magical five-year Stanley Cup run, he became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1974. More than 20 years later in 1997, he was voted the 31st best NHL player of all time in a poll by The Hockey News.

Cheevers one of five goalies to sign autographs on Sunday

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Gerry Cheevers will headline a group of five goalies that will sign autographs on Sunday, June 22, 2014. The five goalies will be in store at A.J. Sports World in Vaughan, ON.

The goalies will be in store at different times, with both Cheevers and Curtis Joseph in store from 1-2pm. Greg Millen will be in store from 12:15-1pm, Steve Mason will be in store from 2:30-3pm, and Peter Ing will be in store from 4-4:30pm.

The cost of a Cheevers autograph is $25 for a regular item or $35 for a premium item. The cost of a Joseph or Mason autograph, however, is more expensive: $30 for a regular item and $50 for a premium item. The cost for an inscription for Joseph or Mason is $10.

The price for an Ing autograph (any item) is $12 while the price for a Millen autograph is $20.

Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member Gerry Cheevers won Stanley Cup rings with the Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972.

Dionne to sign autographs on Sunday at Toronto Card Show

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Marcel Dionne will sign autographs this Sunday June 15, 2014 at the Toronto Card Show.

Dionne became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992. He was a four-time First or Second Team All-Star and a one-time Art Ross Trophy winner as the league’s best scorer. A long-time member of the Los Angeles Kings, he also played for the Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers.

Sinden and Lafleur to sign autographs at A.J. Sports World

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured members Harry Sinden and Guy Lafleur will sign autographs this Sunday Jun. 15, 2014 at A.J. Sportsworld in Vaughan, ON. Sinden will be in store at noon while Lafleur will be in store at 2pm.

Sinden was a long-time coach and executive with the Boston Bruins. He was behind the bench when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup in 1970. He became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983.

Lafleur, meanwhile, was a superstar forward and five-time Stanley Cup winner with the Montréal Canadiens. He won Stanley Cup rings in 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1979, also winning the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff’s most valuable player in 1977.

The price for a Sinden autographs is $30 for a regular item or $40 for a premium item. The price for a Lafleur autograph is $35 for a regular item or $50 for a premium item.
