Dale Hawerchuk to sign autographs at Spring 2015 Expo

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Dale Hawerchuk will sign autographs at the upcoming Spring 2015 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Coffey is the latest retired star confirmed for the upcoming three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Hawerchuk was a back-to-back Memorial Cup champion with the Cornwall Royals before being drafted first overall by the Winnipeg Jets. He was the NHL’s most outstanding rookie (Calder Trophy) in 1981-82. Just three years later, he was runner-up to Wayne Gretzky in voting for the league’s most valuable player honours.

After nine years with the Jets, he played for the Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers. In 1996-97, he helped the Flyers win the Prince of Wales Trophy to reach the Stanley Cup final. He became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.

So far, both Hawerchuk, Paul Coffey and Frank Mahovlich are confirmed autograph signers for the upcoming Spring 2015 Expo.

Paul Coffey to sign autographs at Spring 2015 Expo

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Paul Coffey will sign autographs at the upcoming Spring 2015 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Coffey is the latest retired star confirmed for the upcoming three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Coffey was a Stanley Cup winner with the Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins and a Presidents’ Trophy winner with the Oilers and Detroit Red Wings. Coffey also reached the Stanley Cup final with the Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers.

From the blueline, he won the Norris Trophy as the league’s best defenceman in 1984-85 and 1985-86. He was a four-time NHL First Team All-Star and four-time NHL Second Team All-Star frm 1981-82 to 1994-95. After his retirement, he became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.

Big M Mahovlich to sign autographs at Spring 2015 Expo

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Frank Mahovlich will sign autographs at the upcoming Spring 2015 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Mahovlich is the first big star confirmed for the upcoming three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Mahovlich was a six-time Stanley Cup winner with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montréal Canadien in the 1960s and early 1970s. He was an three-time NHL First Team All-Star and six-time NHL Second Team All-Star between 1960-61 and 1972-73. He was also the NHL All-Star Game MVP in 1963.

Mahovlich became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1981.

Mike Gartner to sign autographs at AJ Sports World

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Mike Gartner will sign autographs at A.J. Sports World in Vaughan, ON on Jan. 24, 2015. Gartner will be in store this Saturday starting at 12 noon.

The cost of each Gartner autograph is $25 for regular items and $35 for premium items. There are also mail order options.

Gartner played in the NHL with the Washington Capitals, Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Phoenix Coyotes. When he left the Capitals in 1988-89, he left the franchise as the team’s all-time scoring leader.

With the Capitals, he helped the team reach the playoffs for the first time in franchise history in 1982-83. Three seasons later, he helped the Capitals set a franchise record with 50 wins.

In 1991-92, he helped the Rangers win the Presidents’ Trophy and set a franchise record with 50 wins.

After Gartner’s retirement, he became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.

Frozen Pond in-store signing with Johnny Bower on Saturday

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Johnny Bower will sign autographs on Saturday at the Frozen Pond hockey memorabilia store just north of Toronto. Bower will be in store from noon until 2pm on Dec. 20, 2014.

In store, Bower autographs cost $10 for regular items or $15 for bulky items. If you can’t make it to Frozen Pond, you can also purchase autographs by mail, with more information available from Frozen Pond at 905.760.8404.

Bower was a four-time Stanley Cup winner with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1960s, winning titles in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967. In 2001, the Society of International Hockey Research recognised Bower as the most valuable player of the 1963 playoffs.

Bower was also an NHL First Team All-Star in 1960-61 and a runner up in voting for the Hart Trophy. He was also a two-time Vézina Trophy winner. After his retirement in 1976, he was became a Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member.

NHLFrozen Pond hockey memorabilia store has organised a private signing with Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member Bob Gainey. The deadline for fans and autograph collectors is Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.

If you are ordering items from Frozen Pond, the cost is $65 for an 8×10 photo or hockey puck and $269 for a replica jersey. If you are sending through your own items, the cost is $60 for small flat items, $75 for premium items like jerseys or equipment, and $10 for inscriptions or personalisations.

Gainey was a five-time Stanley Cup winner with the Montréal Canadiens. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff’s most valuable player in 1978-79. After his playing career, he won the Stanley Cup as the vice president, hockey operations and general manager of the Dallas Stars.

The former first-round draft pick was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992. Three years later, he was inducted in Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 1995.

Sunday Maple Leafs autograph signing at Frozen Pond

NHLFrozen Pond will celebrate a “Leafs Day” autograph signing on Sunday, December 7, 2014. The in-store autograph signing will feature Peter Holland, Leo Komarov and Stuart Percy from 3-4pm.

Hasek to sign autographs at Frozen Pond on Saturday

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Dominik Hasek will sign autographs at the Frozen Pond hockey memorabilia store on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014.

Hasek was a Stanley Cup winner with the Detroit Red Wings, but he was best remembered for his time with the Buffalo Sabres. He won the Hart Trophy as the league’s most valuable player in back-to-back seasons with the Sabres in 1996-97 and 1997-98. He also won the Vézina Trophy as the league’s top goaltender on six occasions from 1993-94 to 2000-01.

Before joining the Sabres, Hasek played pro hockey in Czechoslovakia before making his NHL debut with the Chicago Blackhawks. Before the end of his career, he also played with the Ottawa Senators. He won an Olympic gold medal with the Czech Republic in 1998.

Autograph guests highlight weekend at Fall Expo 2014

NHLThe Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo will feature a cast of hockey heroes in the Stars of the Game Autograph Section. Different guests will attend on each day of the weekend show, from Friday to Sunday, Nov. 7-9.

On Friday night, the three autograph guests are Johnny Bower, Bill McCreary and Ted Lindsay.

On Saturday, the guests are Yvan Cournoyer, Joe Daley, Bob Gainey, Rod Langway and Mike Modano.

On Sunday, the guests are Al Iafrate, Larry Murphy and Esa Tikkanen as well as “Customer Appreciation Guest” Darryl Sittler.

Darryl Sittler to sign as Fall Expo Fan Appreciation Guest

NHLHockey Hall of Fame honoured member Darryl Sittler will sign autographs at the upcoming Fall 2014 Sportcard & Memorabilia Expo. Sittler, the show’s Fan Appreciation Guest, is the latest legend added to the lineup for the three-day hockey memorabilia weekend.

Sittler spent the bulk of his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was the team captain from 1975-76 to 1980-81, then shortly after played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings. He was a four-time Maple Leafs’ Molson Cup winner and one-time NHL Second Team All-Star.

Sittler became an honoured member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989.

Sittler will sign on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014. Other Hockey Hall of Fame honoured members signing during the same weekend are Yvan Cournoyer, Bob Gainey, Rod Langway, Ted Lindsay, Mike Modano, Dickie Moore and Larry Murphy.
