Presented by The Want List, the 2012 Vintage Collector’s Almanac & Price Guide serves as the ultimate source for pre-1990 checklists and pricing information. Complete checklists for all standard hockey collector sets as well as many regional and team-issued sets are included in this edition. Also included are auction results for game-used memorabilia such as jerseys, masks, skates and sticks.

Some notable auction results included in this edition are: the Paul Henderson 1972 Summit Series game jersey (closing bid of $1,067,538 U.S.), a Bobby Orr 1966-67 game jersey ($160,000 U.S.), Peter Pocklington’s 1990 Stanley Cup championship ring ($72,151), and Maurice Richard’s 400th goal stick ($14,842).

As for complete checklists with pricing details, the Almanac includes collecting favourites such as Bee Hive, Ice Kings, O-Pee-Chee, Parkies, Shirriff and Topps. The oldest sets have been featured with pricing information in two “raw” grades; the key cards have been highlighted with additional pricing information for professionally “graded” copies.

Additional pricing sections feature autographs (with a checklist of every Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member), publications (magazines, media guides and newspapers), and team-issued collector sets.
