HEROES OF YEAR TWO

The Boston Bruins missed the playoffs by just one point in 1925-26. The team’s one-two scoring punch was Carson Cooper and Jimmy Herberts. The team did not have a captain, although future captain Lionel Hitchman played in all 36 games. The team’s goalie was Doc Stewart.

HALL OF JERSEYS

More than 40 former Bruins are today honoured members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Honoured members who have also had their jersey retired by the Bruins are #2 Eddie Shore, #4 Bobby Orr, #5 Dit Clapper, #7 Phil Esposito, #8 Cam Neely, #9 Johnny Bucyk, #15 Milt Schmidt, and #77 Raymond Bourque. Two other Bruins have had their numbers retired: #3 Lionel Hitchman and #24 Terry O’Reilly.

GAME EDITION 2012-13
