HEROES OF YEAR ONE

The Ottawa Senators were one of the original members of the National Hockey League in 1917-18. Team stars included Cy Denneny, Jack Darragh, Eddie Gerard, Frank Nighbor, Buck Boucher, and Harry Hyland. The goalie was Clint Benedict.

HALL OF JERSEYS

More than 30 former Senators are today honoured members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. The team’s last captain was Syd Howe in 1933-34.
